During the July 1993 ARSRP bottom reverberation experiment, the R/V Knorr deployed bottom-moored, 64-element, vertical line arrays (VLA's) with the data being recorded by autonomous digital recording packages (GARRP's). The R/V Knorr also deployed the NRL DTAGS (Deeply Towed Acoustics-Geophysics System) as an acoustic source and receiver and towed DTAGS in the vicinity of these seafloor arrays. Transmission time was shared between the three ships participating in the experiment (R/V Cory Chouest, R/V Alliance, and R/V Knorr). Thus, the VLA's/GARRP's and DTAGS recorded bistatic scatter from both the R/V Cory Chouest and the R/V Alliance during their respective transmission intervals. During DTAGS transmissions, DTAGS recorded her own scatter monostatically and the VLA's/GARRP's recorded the scatter bistatically. In this paper, selected segments of VLA/GARRP data from different experiment sites within the SRP National Laboratory will be shown and the received scatter related to the source-array positions and bathymetry.
