The acoustical background for elastic shells which allows one to isolate elastic shell resonance's was first presented at an ASA conference in 1989 for spherical shells. A formulation has been developed that is based on the T-matrix method general for nonspherical shells. An outline of the formulation is presented and it's use in isolating resonance's for elastic spheroidal shells is presented. [Work sponsored by NRL and the Office of Naval Research.]
