pulsation threshold

Dear People,

We are doing some experiments on auditory continuity perception.
I have a vague memory of some experiments done back in the 70s
on the effect of inter-tone silent duration on pulsation thresholds
but can only find reference to Rodenburg's work on the effect of
silent interval duration on forward masking. Would anyone be able
to give me a lead to work that has been done aside from what is
to be found in van Noorden's dissertation?
