Re: a layman's reply speech/music



Shouldn't the distiguishing of song from instrumental music involve
'looking' for the changing filtering characteristics brought on by vowel
transitions? Instruments (traditional acoustic instruments anyway)
don't have those kinds of fil;tering characteristics (except for trombone
w/ toilet plunger mute transitions, I imagine.)
Hopefully this isn't too irritating to you guys.
