Two Lectureships in Psychology

Applications are invited for two lectureships in the Department of
Psychology, tenable from 1 September 1999, or as soon as possible
thereafter.

Applicants with research interests in any area of Psychology are
welcome.  Our priority is to appoint active and productive researchers
to strengthen and/or complement our existing expertise in
developmental psychology, cognition and perception, and ageing and
neurological illness.

The lectureships are intended to be 'permanent' after a satisfactory
probation period of three years.  The appointments will be in the range
œ16,655 - œ29,048 per annum.  USS benefits apply.

The Department was graded 5 in the last Research Assessment Exercise
and is keen to build on this. The Department has recently completed its
move into a new purpose designed building, and offers excellent
facilities and support for teaching and research.
