Conference Announcement and Call for Papers

Oct. 9-11, 2002, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Conference theme:  Acoustics - Bridge to the Future
emphasizing acoustical links within and between disciplines

Call for abstracts: all areas of acoustics
individual papers, posters and
organized symposia welcome

Deadline for submissions:  May 31

Program:   plenary lectures, technical sessions, posters, exhibit,
pre-conference workshops, "Island" hospitality
Abstracts/summaries published in quarterly journal: Canadian Acoustics

Preliminary estimates of conference fees are:
early registration: $225-$250 (approx.) for members, $55 more for non-members,
and $50 more for late registration. The conference fee will include
three lunches, one dinner, one banquet, coffee breaks, and some
other aspects pertaining to the meeting.
