The Department of Psychology at the University at Buffalo, The State 
University of New York, invites applications for an open rank position 
in COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY or COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE. Area of research is 
open, but candidates with research strengths in language processing, 
perception, categorization, cognitive development, or aging are 
desirable. Applicants are expected to have an active, visible research 
program, to publish theoretical and empirical research in top-tier 
journals, and to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate 
supervision and instruction. A history of obtaining external grant 
support is strongly desired in senior candidates; junior candidates 
are expected to have a strong potential for funding. A detailed
