DSP Research Engineer Position Available

Starkey Laboratories, Inc., an equal opportunity employer and a recognized
world leader in providing the highest quality hearing technology available,
has an exciting opportunity for a full-time DSP research engineer at its
international headquarters located in Minnesota, USA. This position is
responsible for research and development of signal processing algorithms for
hearing aids. 

Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science or
related field is required. Candidates with a Master's degree in electrical
engineering, computer science or related field and 3+ years of applicable
experience may be considered. Research experience in hearing aids or
cochlear implants is highly desirable. Research experience in audio signal
processing algorithms, psychoacoustics or acoustics is a plus.

Skills 
.	Proficiency in Matlab is required
.	Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required
.	Good verbal and written communication skills are required
.	Proficiency in statistical analysis is desirable
.	Familiarity with speech enhancement, array processing and audio
classification algorithms is a plus
