Postdoctoral position: The Mediterranean Institute of Cognitive
Neurosciences in Marseille, France. 
Attention in time: neural modelling and neuroanatomical substrates of
implicit and explicit attentional processes 

The Mediterranean Institute of Cognitive Neurosciences invites applications
for a 2 years POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP in cognitive neuroscience, available
from fall 2008. The fellow will join a project to explore the functional
and neuroanatomical characteristics of orienting attention in time while
listening to music. The candidate should hold a PhD in experimental
psychology or neuroscience. Prior experience of either fMRI or EEG
techniques is preferable, as is an interest in timing or music processing.
A sound knowledge of research design and statistical skills are essential.
Musical knowledge is very much welcome. He/she will be expected to design
stimuli, analyse data (Matlab, prepare results for publication and have the
capacity to write in English at a standard required for scientific
publication. Fluency in spoken French is not a requirement, but a basic
knowledge would be beneficial. The candidate should be motivated and
capable of independent decision-making. The fellow will receive stipends
