Preferably the system should plot compensated B and G (Delta B and G) simultaneously; however, in case of GSI you have to run each of them separately (make sure that you use the same pressure point for peak for both components). Once you plot them F45 is the frequency that compensated B (Delta B) becomes equal or very close to compensated G (Delta G). You can use cursor to read teh value. I wanted to know the procedure for estimating F45 using GSI tympstar middle ear analyzer. If we take the lowest frequency at which the delta B is equalling delta G for F45, is that correct? Is the value what we get after the sweep frequency mode i.e., is the delta value compensated?
