Re: book copy

Douglas,

I am a used-book junkie, particularly classic books on audition, vision, perception, physiology, mathematics and experimental psychology. I am particularly fond of books that are signed by the scientists that owned them. Needless to say I was quite pleased when Harris' book arrived and it turned out to have been owned previously by Creelman. I am saddened that this book appears to have been taken from you. I'd be more than happy to return the book to you.

I always keep the receipts for my books. Looks like I purchased Harris' book while I was a Post-doc at Wisconsin for $30 on August 16, 2000 from a Toronto bookseller "Dr. Hoff's Therapeutic Bibliotheca" http://www.drhoff.com/books.htm

You might be able to follow up with Dr Hoff to see who sold him the book.

Here's the description from the bookseller at the time:

Subject: book copy

Hello, Daniel -
I am glad someone appreciative has the copy of that book of readings
edited by Haris that I lost years ago. It vanished when I left it out
for students in a seminar, for them to read selections. I would be
fascinated to know the provenance, the path it took to Denver.
Best wishes,
Doug Creelman
