Re: Classical papers about auditory localization

As I got much more requests than I expected, I have put the papers online.
Unfortunately I don't have any webspace available right now, so I put them
online via rapidshare (sorry for the advertisements)

Rayleigh-Paper:

Jeffress-Paper:

Thank you all for the many replies ...
I got several requests for copies of the papers, so if someone else is also interested
please contact me and I will send the files.

Dear list,

I'm looking for two classical old papers about source localization, which are referenced in many other papers, but are not available in the web or our local library. Does someone know where to obtain a copy of them?

In particular, I am looking for:

L. A. Jeffress. A place theory of sound localization. Journal of
Comparitive Physiology and Psychology, 41:35 – 39, 1948.

J. W. Strutt (Lord Rayleigh). On our perception of sound direction.
Philosophical Magazine, 13:214 – 232, 1907.

Many thanks in advance,
