Re: About importance of "phase" in sound recognition



Hello List,



For those of you interested in the ability of the hearing system to "hear"

phase the following bibliography from my archive is attached as a PDF.



It is not necessary for the auditory system to allow us to hear changes in

the signal as the phase of components changes. The question is whether

the auditory system can decode the changes and utilize them.
