PhD thesis on single-channel musical source separation

Dear list,

[apologies for any cross-postings]

I would like to inform you about the online availability of my PhD thesis, titled "An iterative, residual-based approach to unsupervised musical source separation in single-channel mixtures". It was completed in June 2011. (Confusingly, the year shown in the thesis is the year of the original submission, which is what the university required.)

The audio samples related to the experimental comparisons, along with a PDF of the thesis, are available here:
http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~jes1/SiamantasPhD/Thesis_examples/index.html
A few additional demonstrations are included here:
http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~jes1/Audio_Signal_Processing_Research_Demos3.html

The thesis' findings are currently in the process of being published.

Any comments are warmly welcome.

Regards,
Giorgos
