Research Assistantship at Stirling University (Scotland, UK)

Dear all:

There is a vacancy for a post-doctoral research assistant at Stirling University, in Computing Science and Mathematics, in the School of Natural Sciences.

The project is the MEMS/CMOS Microphone project: a project funded by the UK EPSRC.

The project has been running for about two years, jointly between Stirling and Edinburgh Universities, and aims to build a MEMS/CMOS microphone oriented towards sound perception and interpretation, and in which there are multiple sensors, each individually with individually rapidly adjustable gain.

There is information about the project at

http://mems.cs.stir.ac.uk/

and there are further particulars at

http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/ADT808/research-assistant/

The post is for approximately two years. For further information/discussion, email or phone me at the addresses below.

Note that the closing date is very soon - slightly late applications will still be accepted.
