Post-doctoral Research Scientist for Cochlear Implant Research

we are inviting applications for a post-doctoral research scientist to join our cochlear implant team. The research focus is on auditory scene analysis with cochlear implants and the development of novel sound coding strategies. The position is full time and will start at the earliest convenient date.

Our close interaction with the Bernstein Centre for Computational Neuroscience, Munich (www.bccn-munich.de), extensive cooperation with industry and with local and international scientific partners, like the Chair for Man-Machine-Interaction at the TU München, the Hearing Research Network Munich (www.hearing.ei.tum.de), and the MRC Institute of Hearing Research in Nottingham (UK), creates an attractive environment with excellent perspectives for personal development. 

Munich - the city famous for the Oktoberfest, high-end cars and its unique location to the Alps - is a bustling, international and interesting place to live which offers a wide range of opportunities to engage in cultural and leisurely activities - from Opera to skiing.

The position is funded by the BMBF through the Bernstein Centre for Computational Neuroscience, Munich. The employment is according to the state employees salary scheme (TV-L/E13) and is initially for 3 years with the option for extension. Women are explicitly encouraged to apply.
