[AUDITORY] PhD student position at Munster University Hospital, Germany

Dear colleagues,

Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD student position at the ENT
department of Munster University Hospital (Germany). The successful
candidate will work in a research project funded by the Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), doing basic research on vestibular evoked
myogenic potentials (VEMP). Applicants are expected to have a Masterâs
degree in neuroscience, physics, biomedical engineering or a related
field. Substantial programming experience (Matlab) and excellent English
language skills are essential. Prior experience in audiology,
neurotology or electrophysiology would be an advantage, but is not
mandatory.

Since additional courses have to be taken to fulfill the local
requirements for a doctoral degree, some basic knowledge of the German
language (or at least the willingness to acquire such knowledge) would
be useful.
