Re: [AUDITORY] Good introductory literature on cochlear implants

Dear Stuart,
I like Prof. Zeng's IEEE Biomed. Eng. 2008 article "Cochlear Implants: System design, Integration and Evaluation"
Best regards,
Matthias

Can anyone recommend good articles or books to read concerning the technical aspects of a cochlear implant and/or programming implants in a clinical setting? I always recommend Loizou's 1999 IEEE article, but my impression is that there has not been an extensive text book for quite a while. The level I am looking for would be aimed at an audiologist who is rather more technically sophisticated than the average. The primary literature is usually too specialised, so book chapters or review articles would probably be the most appropriate.

Thanks!

Yours - Stuart
