[AUDITORY] Open Rank Faculty Position in Neuroscience, Augmented and Virtual Reality Focus



The Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience, Department of Neuroscience and Center for Visual Science at the University of Rochester invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. As part of a university-wide expansion in both Neuroscience and augmented/virtual reality, we seek outstanding applicants who work in immersive sensory and/or multisensory environments to address fundamental issues in sensory, cognitive and/or motor function. Candidates working in both human and animal model systems are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, diverse community with interests spanning cellular, systems, and cognitive Neuroscience, and will contribute to teaching and mentoring at the graduate level. There is a possibility of additional appointments in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and in Optics.
