Thread-topic: Head-worn microphones for phonetic work

Dear List,

Our AKG C520Ls are both out of order. We would like to buy new head-worn microphones for phonetic studies, but not as fragile as our AKGs if possible.

Does anybody know of a good head-worn microphone, suitable for phonetic research?

Feel free to send me a PM. I will post a summary of references.
