[AUDITORY] 18th International Symposium on Hearing – ISH2018 - Extended Deadline

Dear colleagues,

As a reminder, tomorrow, March 1, is the deadline for pre-registration for the 18th International Symposium on Hearing – ISH2018. Pre-registration is required for submission of papers.

However, in response to many requests, we are extending the deadline for submitting initial papers for ISH by one week to March 8.  Please note that pre-registration is still required for submission of papers and the pre-registration deadline has not been changed.

The meeting will focus on fundamental hearing science, with emphasis on psychoacoustics, physiology of hearing, and auditory modelling. The program will be limited to 55-60 podium presentations of about 20 min based on the accepted papers. Priority will be given to fundamental rather than applied research topics in the selection process. There will be no parallel sessions, and participants are expected to attend the majority of the sessions throughout the week. Accepted papers will be published in a special open access issue in Acta Acustica united with Acustica in Fall 2018. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to participate in the review process of this special issue.
