[AUDITORY] Open PhD position on ‘Evaluation of pupillometry as an indicator of listening effort’.



Dear colleagues,

 

The Hearing Systems Group at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) seeks a qualified candidate for a 3-year PhD position on  ‘Evaluation of pupillometry as an indicator of listening effort’.

 

The aim of this PhD project is to examine the feasibility of pupillometry as a measure of listening effort in individual subjects with and without hearing impairment. If the reliability of the method can be proven, it facilitates the development of standardized tests feasible for clinical use.

 

The applicant should have experience with designing experiments and with data analysis. Signal processing skills would be advantageous. For a complete description of the project, and more information on how to apply, please see the following page:
