The Translational Hearing Research Group at the Bionics Institute in Melbourne, Australia, which is led by myself, has a 4-year post-doc position available. The project aims to address the poor outcomes of a proportion of new cochlear implant
users, by developing appropriate diagnostic tests and piloting practical solutions that are matched with the individual diagnoses. The person will work with cochlear implant users and will use a range of test methods (psychophysics, fNIRS, EEG, speech perception
assessments) as well as develop novel sound processing strategies or fitting methods.
