Re: [AUDITORY] Clubhouse talk to discuss the future of cochlear implant technology

Dear Jan and Tamas,

My apologies as I was unaware that Clubhouse is only implemented for IPhone at the moment. I am a completely new user of Clubhouse myself and I’m still trying to get the hang of it. I thought it would be very interesting to try and utilize it to share knowledge in the field. We could also as you very nicely suggested try to hold this discussion elsewhere. Do you have any suggestions/know of another platform that would work well for this purpose?

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Cheers,
Nawal

Dear Nawal,

it's a pity that this is something that is only accessible to those who are beholden to the cult of Apple.
I think debates on what the future of CIs should look like are an excellent idea. But why can't we have them in a forum that doesn't exclude everyone who isn't a cliquey i-phone user?

Dear list,

I thought of giving Clubhouse a shot and invite you all to an open visionary discussion about the future of cochlear implants from your perspective. There is no specific agenda as this is an informal discussion in an attempt to make up for the locked-down cafés :) If you're bored of writing papers and grants, please feel free to join! It's also a nice opportunity to socialize a bit :)

It is scheduled for Wednesday 24.03 at 19:15 European time.

Looking forward to talking with all of you!

Cheers,
Nawal
