Thread-topic: Microphones for HRTF measurement

Dear all,

I am looking to purchase some microphones for HRTF measurements, ideally with minimal noise and distortion, and a wide and flat frequency response.

I have come across some email threads from 2009 in which they recommended the Sennheiser KE 4-211-2, but those were already discontinued back then. Does anyone have any more up-to-date suggestions, by any chance?
