[AUDITORY] Audio ML Research Positions at Bose (Boston, MA / Remote)

[Apologies for the cross-post!]

Bose Research has multiple full-time and part-time Audio ML positions opening including ML ScientistsML Engineers and 2021 ML Interns / Co-ops. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in deep learning, software engineering and signal processing and a passion for applying their skills to next-gen audio products!

  • Internship and Co-op positions are live now and can be applied to immediately.
  • Full-time positions will open shortly but candidates with interest are encouraged to reach out to me directly at marko_stamenovic@xxxxxxxx. Positions we are looking to fill include:

    • ML Scientist: Audio algorithm developer. Expert in audio AI algorithms, the modern machine learning research stack (Python, TF, Pytorch, etc) and PhD or 5+ years of experience. Strong focus on lightweight realtime algorithms.

    • ML Engineer: ML generalist. Strong proficiency in both modern ML and software engineering practices. Comfortable writing and contributing to codebases in multiple languages including Python, C++, C, TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc. MS/PHD or 3+ years of experience.

    • Embedded ML Engineer: Engineer bridging the gap between ML scientists and hardware. Strong practical understanding of how audio and ML algorithms map to the embedded hardware of today and tomorrow (DSP’s, FPGA’s, microNPU’s) and the ability to implement them using frameworks (TFLite, TVM, ONNX, Neural Magic) or bare metal (C, C++, Assembly). MS/PHD or 3+ years of experience.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to publish at top-tier conferences such as Interspeech, ICASSP, NeurIPS, IHCON and AAS while also contributing to cutting-edge product releases. Applications span Bose’s portfolio and include hearing aids / augmented hearing,  voice communication and active noise cancellation using technologies such as source separation, array processing, acoustic echo cancellation, ML-based control systems and TinyML.

All positions are based out of Bose’s offices in Boston, MA (right across the river from Harvard Square). Bose currently operates on a hybrid work model and while candidates with availability to co-locate are preferred, fully remote work may be available. Internships / co-ops are full-time, paid, three to six-month positions starting in 2021.

Any other questions, feel free to reach out directly!

Thanks!
