L-Acoustics and the Hearing Institute (Institut Pasteur, Paris) offer a
6-months internship position on the following topic: “Influence of sound reproduction system and low frequencies on emotional response to music”.
This project would involve perceptual and physiological measurements to address the following research questions (see detailed project description in attachment):

Does the sound reproduction over a sound reinforcement system increase emotional response in comparison to a conventional listening experience over loudspeakers or headphones?

What is the influence of low frequencies contour modifications on the emotional response?

What are the key perceptual attributes related to low frequencies contour modifications?
The successful applicant should prepare a M.Sc. (last year) in Psychology, Cognitive sciences, Audiology, Acoustics or closely related
