If you are planning to attend ASA Seattle later this month, we'd like to make you aware of two Social events. As a local audio research industry, Reality Labs - Research (former Facebook Reality Labs - Research and Oculus) is organizing:
Women in Audio Luncheon The goal is to connect women who are attending ASA with women who are currently involved in active research at RL-R. Any woman interested in learning more about what it’s like to be a woman at RL-R, or the general environment of industry audio research and research/job opportunities is warmly invited to sign-up for the event. Women at any career stage are welcome. RL-R will provide COVID-safe prepared lunch boxes and drinks. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 Event Time: 12:00pm – 1:30pm Location: Grand Hyatt Seattle - Tolmie – 6th floor Sign-up for the Women in Audio Luncheon here. Audio Networking Reception The goal is to connect ASA attendees from various technical committees at all stages of their career with RL-R employees in attendance. Anyone who might be interested in learning more about the environment of industry audio research and RL-R as a whole is warmly invited to sign-up for the event. RL-R will provide COVID-safe food and drinks. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 Event Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm Location: Grand Hyatt Seattle - Menzies Suite – 6th floor Sign-up for the Audio Networking Reception here. Both events are held indoors, in large spaces reserved at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, a 3-minute walk from the conference hotel. Due to COVID-19, the events are of a smaller scale and held in large rooms with plenty of space to move around and distance. RL-R research requires anyone in attendance to show proof of vaccination, and encourages mask-wearing. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-serve basis. |
