[AUDITORY] GORDON CONF: Neural Mechanisms of Acoustic Communication (July 31-Aug 5, 2022)

Hello all –

Wanted to spread the word about an exciting new Gordon Conference called ‘Neural Mechanisms of Acoustic Communication’, or NMAC, that is scheduled to happen in person July 31-Aug 5, 2022 at Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA (flyer attached). NMAC will bring together an interdisciplinary group of researchers to better understand how the brain encodes and produces vocal signals. Participants will include speech researchers as well as those working in a variety of model organisms, and topics include vocal development, interactive speech, auditory specializations, genomics, predictive coding, and cortical mechanisms of vocal production.

For more details – including a complete list of topics and speakers – as well as registration, please visit:  https://www.grc.org/neural-mechanisms-of-acoustic-communication-conference/2022/

Hope to see you there –
