Dear list,
We are looking for motorcyclists to participate in an online survey concerning the evaluation of informative sounds to be delivered to motorcyclists riding in traffic. The survey evaluates for an auditory signal, perceived urgency and annoyance, as well as event association and suitability.
Collected data will be considered in the sound design process of future auditory icons that are to be presented through an helmet audio system, aiding motorcyclists in dangerous traffic events. These informative sounds intend to improve safety and comfort of motorcyclists.
The participation requires the use of headphones for sound auditioning.
Completion of the survey takes about 25 minutes.
Only adults (18 years or older) with a valid motorcycle driving license may participate.
