[AUDITORY] Research position: EEG measures of brain activity in cochlear implant users @ KU Leuven

Dear all,

We have an exciting job opening for a research position, supervised by
Prof. Dr. Jan Wouters and Dr. Robin Gransier, at ExpORL, Department of
Neurosciences, KU Leuven, Belgium. You will work on the development (i) of
new stimulation strategies to enable optimal speech and music perception
with cochlear implants and ii) a fully objective process for cochlear
implant fitting. It involves novel test procedures of EEG-based objective
measures, partly in the framework of a research project together with
Cochlear, the global market leader in cochlear implants (CI), and VLAIO
(Vlaanderen Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen).

We highly encourage candidates with a strong background in one of the
following domains to apply: audiology, cochlear implants, EEG, and signal
processing.

Deadline: 1st of February 2022
