[AUDITORY] Post-doc position available: Neural Oscillations in the Auditory System

Dear colleagues,

we have a post-doc position available - see details below. Please share with everyone who might be interested!

Many thanks,

Benedikt Zoefel

--------------------------------------

We are looking for a post-doc to work with us at the Centre de Recherche de Cerveau et Cognition (CerCo) in Toulouse, France. The project will be led by Benedikt Zoefel and funded by the Agence National de Recherche (ANR).

The successful applicant will join a lively research institute in a thriving city in Southern France and apply state-of-the-art methods (tACS in combination with EEG, neurofeedback) to manipulate neural oscillations in the auditory system and test their role for auditory perception and attention.

Applicants should hold a PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, hearing science, engineering or similar. They must have excellent programming (MATLAB, Python or similar) and signal processing skills. Experience with transcranial brain stimulation or EEG, and a background in research on neural oscillations, are not strictly necessary, but highly appreciated.

The position will run for 28 months and its starting date is flexible (between April and October 2022). Salary depends on experience and will be determined following CNRS guidelines.

To apply, please send a CV, including the name of two potential references, and a summary of research interests (< 1 page) to Benedikt Zoefel (benedikt.zoefel at cnrs.fr). Review of applications will begin on 4th February and remain ongoing until the position is filled.
