| Dear Arnaud, Thank you for your kind offer, but I won’t trouble you now for your implementation.
We are trying to follow the ISO standard which is based on 11 loudness categories, that is, 1 inaudible, and 10 suprathreshold.  This seems crazy to me as ofc with 10
categories the midpoint is between categories.  But maybe I’m missing something in the conversion to 0-50 categorical units.
Can I ask, is 4 the midpoint of audible categories in the 7-point scale that you used in you Matlab program? arnaud norena <arnaud.norena@xxxxxxxxxxx> Hello : I have a matlab progam somewhere that does that (7 loudness categories) with a friendly user interface! Tell me if it can be useful for you (you need Matlab). best, arnaud Le ven. 8 mars 2024 à 07:01, David Jackson Morris <dmorris@xxxxxxxxx> a écrit :
