---------- Chris Darwin has written me that Bob Carlyon is going to receive the Lindsey Award at the Boston meeting of the ASA. He is the first psychoacoustician since Dave Green to get it, and the first foreigner ever. Bob is noted for choosing interesting questions and then attacking them with rigorous methods. I'm sure you all join me in congratulating him and wishing him all the best in his future endeavours. Right on, Bob! - Al Bregman (until June 30, 1994) CCRMA Dept. of Music The Knoll Stanford University Stanford, CA 94305-8180 tel: (415) 723-3089, 327-3251 fax: (415) 723-8468 email: bregman(at)ccrma.stanford.edu
