Dear List, THANK YOU ALL for your participation in the recent ASA conference, and for your feedback about it. Seems like we witnessed a subtle revolution, with bridges being forged between music, speech, physiology, psychoacoustics and computer science. A few years ago, even one session on Auditory Organization would have been highly unusual to find at a meeting of the Acoustical Society. The volume of papers presented on this topic over the five sessions, and their range/ breadth/ depth/ scope clearly reflect the spirit of the times (the "Zeitgeist"!) Hope we can continue to have more fora for discussion and information sharing in the future. Thanks again, Punita (The "introduction to the area" poem follows in the next transmission)
