Junior Faculty Researcher Awards The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, McGill University, is interested in sponsoring the nomination of candidates with a strong record of research accomplishment wishing to apply for either provincially or federally funded (e.g., NSERC WFA, MRC Scholar, FRSQ or CQRS Chercheur Boursier) junior faculty researcher awards. Applicants for these awards must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents (and in some cases Quebec residents) and would normally have post-doctoral experience. Successful candidates would primarily be expected to develop an independent research program and would have minimal teaching duties. Applications from junior scientists working on any aspect of basic or applied research in communication and its disorders would be considered. The School offers a stimulating research environment within the Faculty of Medicine and maintains close ties with other researchers in Cognitive Neuroscience at McGill.
