Hi ,

Our lab got the software CARL from ccrma-ftp.stanford.edu to use the
pvoc(phase-vocoder) to compress sound . However , it seems that the
sample commands the authors gave in the documentation does not work as
they said . I wonder that maybe there is something wrong with the file
format . The documentation only says the file should be "floatsam" , does
it mean float files for SUN format ?
If you know pvoc in CARL , would you please give me some suggestions and
advice on how to use it ?
