The Academie canadienne francaise pour l'avancement des sciences (ACFAS) has awarded Al Bregman the 1995 Jacques Rousseau Award for interdisciplinary research. The award acknowledges Dr. Bregman's "exceptional scientific contribution which largely surpasses his field of specialization in research, establishing innovative bridges between different disciplines so as to better advance the boundaries of knowledge." Many thanks to all of those list members who submitted letters in support of Al's nomination. Congratulations Al!
