Here are calls for papers for two upcoming AES meetings:

Audio Engineering Society 7th Regional Convention, 1995, Tokyo, Japan

Meeting dates: June 21-23, 1995
Location: Sunshine City Convention Center
          Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan
Theme:  Advanced Audio Technologies for Audio-Video & Multimedia
Deadline for submission of title and 60 word abstract: March 1, 1995

Tentative topics for papers include:

architectural acoustics and auralization, audio circuit design, audio coding,
digital signal processing, multichannel audio, multimedia, psychoacoustics and
hearing, program production/human interface, recording and reproduction,
tests and measurements, transducers, virtual reality and 3D audio

The title and abstract should be submitted on a form which is contained in the
December, 1994 issue of the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society.

Papers can be written and presented either in Japanese or English. No
simultaneous translation between Japanese and English will be provided at the
presentation. A preprint manuscript will be a condition for accepting a paper.
If accepted, the preprint manuscript will be due May 10, 1995.

microphones, loudspeakers, multichannel sound, desktop audio-video,
psychoacoustics and perceptioni, audio-video interactions, instrumentation and
measurement, room and musical acoustics, audio-video installations, signal
processing, coding and codec evalution, audio in teleconferencing, networking
with audio-video, virtual environments, sound reinforcement, production
techniques, recording and reconstruction, new storage media

The title and abstract should be submitted on a form which is contained in the
December, 1994 issue of the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society.

A preprint manuscript will be a condition for accepting a paper. If accepted,
the preprint manuscript will be due June 30, 1995. The author of correspondence
will receive 50 free copies of the preprint at the meeting.
