I'd like to see more posting of abstracts. It works well and appears virtually *mandatory* on lists like the connectionists -- particularly for technical reports. The other useful service on those lists is regular postings of contents pages from relevant journals. All we need to do is to follow a strict subject line protocol (ABSTRACT: <TITLE>, CONTENTS: <JOURNAL> <VOLUME> <NUMBER>). Martin Cooke
