Dear list, I agree with Rebecca that the database will quickly become out of date if authors have to keep posting updated information to the database manager. How about combining two of the suggestions that have been made by others: (1) Everyone generates and maintains his/her own page of references in a standard HTML format and sends a link to Jont. An alternative would be to insist on BibTEX format and to send Jont the URL of a BibTEX file with all the relevant details. (2) Jont writes/obtains software that will periodically access these pages and update the master database accordingly. This is a one-off task that will not require lots of maintenance work on a regular basis. ************************************************************ Mike Brookes, EEE Dept, Imperial College, London SW7 2BT, UK Tel: +44 (0) 171-594-6165 Fax: +44 (0) 171-823-8125 Email: mike.brookes(at)ic.ac.uk WWW: http://www.ee.ic.ac.uk/hp/staff/dmb/dmb.html
