Dear colleagues, Am I correct in my understanding that the phenomenon whereby one perceives a pitch in a noise stimulus which has been added to itself iteratively with a certain time delay was first described by Bilsen & Ritsma (1970; JASA, 47, 469-476)? I just want to be sure I am not overlooking anyone else. Thank you in advance for your usual help.
