DAn. ------- Forwarded Message ____________________________________________________________________ Postdoctoral Associate in Audition A research position is available to study the dynamic properties of hearing, with special emphasis on the processing of amplitude and frequency modulation. Applicants must have a Ph.D. preferably in Psychology or Electrical Engineering, and a background, including research experience, in psychoacoustics. Skills in quantitative modeling and in computer usage in auditory research are desirable. The research will be conducted at the Psychoacoustics Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Neal Viemeister. Salary: $28,000 to $30,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. The appointment is as a Postdoctoral Associate and is for 12 months at 100% time. The appointment is renewable, depending on performance and continued availability of funding. The starting date is approximately December 1, 1998.
