Dear List, I've been studying an unusual effect in which perception of repeating noise bursts seems to change over time. I was wondering if there have been any physiological studies that parallel this perceptual change. Does anyone know of physiology studies, at any level of the system, that have looked at changes in response patterns to frozen noise bursts over time? Thanks for any leads. Pat Zurek Patrick M.
