Dear list, I'd like to thank Kevin Austin both for his kind words and his suggestions. We had thought of just putting up demos on our own website, but that doesn't address the question of funding, and the funding agencies seem to require some refereeing process. Jont Allen has suggested the Acoustical Society's ARLO. I have corresponded with Bill Hartmann on this idea. However, my previous experience has led me to the conclusion (perhaps outdated) that most ASA reviewers have little interest in, or sympathy for, the subjective aspect of auditory perception, which would, of course, be central in audio demonstrations.
