Just to note that the research reported in this paper has apparently
demonstrated the existence of neurons in the optic tectum of owl that
respond multiplicatively rather than additively to pairs of stimuli.
Can anyone provide a pointer to information on the
anatomy/neurophysiology of these neurons?
