Electromagnetic inductance and capacitance will throw sound when you pump it loud. Particularly fans which cool ya system. In short I think the majority of Lappies ship with standard audio chipsets, which in general these days are more then reasonable quality. I have gained USB sound cards quite lound at many different venues. They sell in Sydney for about $400 AU a pop (second hand). Well worth the investment and my recommendation for a cheap but good audio setup.
