The ITU Standard P.863, developed by KPN (Berends, et. al.) and BT (Rix, et. al.) is probably the best algorithm (that is available) to measure quality. AI is a measure of intelligibility and probably not applicable to the type of distortions present in cell phones.... Geoffrey L.
