University College London POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST (FULL TIME) Centre for Developmental Language Disorders & Cognitive Neuroscience A full time postdoctoral research scientist position is available from August 2004 at the Centre for Developmental Language Disorders and Cognitive Neuroscience (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/dldcn), University College London, UK. The post holder will lead a research project entitled "Phonological representation and processing in children with SLI". This 3-year project is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and will be run in close collaboration with Franck Ramus (LSCP, Paris) and Stuart Rosen (UCL). It will investigate phonological processing in children with specific language impairment, in relation to other aspects of their language disorder, and as compared to dyslexic and unimpaired children. Candidates should have a PhD and a strong research background in psycholinguistics, developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, linguistics, or a related discipline.
