Thank you to Pierre Divenyi, Jeffrey Sable, Trevor Agus and Al Bregman for writing in with their ideas. The way I have it set up now, the first stimulus of the trial is always an intact (no breaks) FM sweep. The easiest thing for me to do now is to try different instructions and simpler language. The next thing to do would be to use the excellent suggestiong by Dr. Bregman of using breaks in both stimuli and notched noise. I hope in the near future I can report on some of my results here. As always, this List is an excellent resource, --fatima Fatima T. Husain, Ph.D. NIDCD/NIH Bldg. 10/ Room 8S-235E Phone: 301-594-7758
